LouAnn Dewater
Director of Vocational Services / General Manager
LouAnn comes to the Oregon Connection as part of the Star of Hope management team. She has many years of service in supporting adults with disabilities both residentially and vocationally. LouAnn's move to General Manager of the Oregon Connection is a natural fit. With in-site and keen business sense she keeps things on track and is always open to developing new ideas. LouAnn, her husband and two children have lived in the area for 13 years. Hobbies include home decorating and remodeling. When asked what her favorite part of this duel role position was LouAnn replied, "Seeing people's dreams of employment be realized."

Jamella Weeks
Contract Specialist/OIS Certified Instructor/Quality Assurance
What can we say, need it done she is your go to person. Always willing to sell you a product idea with a smile attached. Jamella has spent over 25 years supporting individuals with disabilities. She has the unique gift of changing peoples lives one smile at a time.

Greg
Shop Foreman
Greg has lived in the bay area for 31 years. He served in the Air Force on active duty for 4 years. He has worked at the Oregon Connection for 30 years. Greg's ability to create beautiful putters, clocks and other items for the shop has been refined over the years. Greg's hobbies include fishing, photography and taking things apart to see how they work. He admits however that he is not good at putting things back together and making sure they work again. When asked what his favorite part of the job was he replied, "Learning new things and the people that I meet as well as those that I work with and for."

Tony
Sawyer
Tony has lived in the bay area for 35 years. He was in the Army and served in Vietnam as a cook. He has worked at the Oregon Connection for 32 years and is active in the community. Tony participates in the Kawanis/Dornbecker bike ride raising money for Dornbecker Children's Hospital. Tony and his wife have 6 malamute sled dogs and enjoy spending time mushing on the dunes. When asked what his favorite part of the job was he replied, "The people! Meeting new ones from all over and the ones that I work with too."

Ray
Finish Turner
Ray has lived in the Bay area for 15 years. He has worked as a finish turner for the Oregon Connection for the last 8 years as well as working through the fire season with Honer Timberland as a fire fighter. Rey, his wife and 3 kids enjoy a variety of activities within the community. When asked what his favorite part of the job was Rey said, " I love making the BIG bowls and designing new items out of myrtle wood."
